How does food digest
Have you ever wondered how food is digested in your stomach? I will provide you with adequate reasons as to how food is digested.
The food that you eat is masticated with your teeth and saliva. Then the food moves to the back of your mouth to a place called the trapdoor or oesophagus.
The food goes down into stomach and gets broken down by the digestive juices. The broken down food is moved to your small intestine, here the goodness is soaked in.
Then the food moves into the large intestine where the water is taken out.The goodness left behind is carried through your blood and is used for growth, repair and energy.
The waste food is excreted and goes out through your anus.
